Jim Styn
Jim is a San Diego native (like his Dad) and grew up participating in sports, playing with friends and spending time outdoors. With dreams of becoming a professional baseball player, Jim grew up collecting cards, memorizing baseball statistics and trying to make every book report assignment about sports. After graduating from University City High School, Jim joined his brother at the University of Redlands (alma mater to his Mom, Dad, three uncles, one aunt and two grandparents).

Jim developed a love for traveling while at the University of Redlands -- spending a semester in Austria and a month each in Egypt, Mexico and Eastern Europe. He graduated with a degree in Psychology and began teaching alternative high school in San Diego. Four years later, and after a jaunt to South America, Jim started working crazy hours at CollegeClub.com where his tired eyes wandered to an enchanting designer, Jen. Three years and many smiles later the two were engaged. Jim’s a fortunate man who seems to enjoy writing in the third person.
Susie Styn
Ma Styn was born in Washington state and grew up in Colorado with her three brothers (Dave and twins Jim and John) before settling in San Diego. A woman of many talents, her most dedicated and remarkable role has been that of "Mom". Although she attended the University of Redlands with Ron, they met at a party in Washington D.C. a couple of years after college. Susie embodies the meaning of unconditional love‚ and those around her are better because of it. She also somehow tolerates sitting through dinners with the non-stop banter between Jim, John and Ron.

Ron Styn
A rare native to San Diego, Ron left home to go to the University of Redlands before attending Stanford Law School. After luring Susie back to San Diego, he practiced law from his office downtown until he became a Superior Court Judge in 2000. Pop Styn loves his job as a judge and is also a kick butt body surfer. He is truly at home in when he's at the beach. Ron and Susie are avid playgoers and have been married for 37 years.

John Styn
Brother John lives in San Diego where he consults for Web companies. He's made a name for himself online and continues to express himself digitally. He's Jim's best man and a groovy guy. He's full of love and definitely one of a kind.
